Speed Retrieve is the doggie speed swim. At the handler’s signal, the dog runs down 20 feet of the dock, jumps into the water and swims out to pull down a toy 38 feet away that is suspended 2 inches above the water. You have 60 seconds to complete the grab and your time starts as soon as your dog is in motion. Each team has two attempts and the faster of the two runs is your official score.
